ESL FACEIT Group Goes All-In on Acer

Global esports tournament organizer ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) announced Wednesday an extension and expansion of its long-standing partnership with PC manufacturer Acer across its Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 tournament ecosystems. 

Financial terms of this renewed deal were not disclosed.

Under the terms of the new deal, Acer will serve as the exclusive original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partner, with Acer’s PC gaming brand Predator being utilized during Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 competitions throughout 2024.

Predator will be used during Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) events in Chengdu, China; Dallas, United States; and Cologne, Germany; and the IEM Fall competition; during ESL Pro League Season 19 and Season 20; for ESL Challenger competitions in Jönköping, Sweden; Atlanta, United States; Katowice, Poland (and at a to-be-announced location); for the online DreamLeague Season 21, Season 22, and Season 23; and as part of ESL One competitions in 2024, including ESL One Birmingham and ESL One Asia.

Acer and EFG will also work together to showcase and market the latest PC gaming technology across online and offline events, including the Predator Helios 16, Predator Helios 18, Predator Helios Neo series laptops, and Predator Orion series desktops.
