Tournament organizer BLAST announced Monday that gray market esports wagering platform GG.BET has been named the exclusive global betting partner of its Counter-Strike 2 league, BLAST Premier.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The esports betting company will be featured across BLAST Premier content, on digital and physical branding on global broadcasts and events, and via marketing and promotional materials on social media and streaming platform channels. GG.BET will also feature multiple activations during competitions including “talent predictions and BLAST.tv Pick ‘Ems, live betting odds broadcast integration, social media giveaways,” and more, according to a release.

GG.BET joins the other recently announced BLAST Premier partner for 2024, Tradeit.gg.

GG.Bet is a gray market betting platform that has partnered with a number of esports tournament organizers, organizations, and content creators over the years including NAVI, Team Vitality, and Brazilian content creator Gaules, among others. The company holds a license in Curacao, but its service is not usable in the United States, Australia, and other jurisdictions where a regional license is required. The service is available in the UK through a partnership with Rednines Gaming.

The BLAST Premier Spring Groups launch this week and will feature a total prize pool of $190K USD. The top six teams will qualify for the Spring Finals later this year at the Wembley Arena in London. Participating teams include Astralis, BIG, Cloud9, Complexity Gaming and FaZe Clan (both soon to be owned by GameSquare), G2 Esports, Heroic, Natus Vincere, Ninjas in Pyjamas, OG Esports, Team Liquid, Team Vitality, GamerLegion, Team Falcons, Team Spirit, and Virtus.pro.
