Chengdu-based esports organization All Gamers (AG) announced Wednesday that the company has raised over ¥10M RMB ($1.37M USD) in a Series B+ financing round, led by state-owned Orinno Capital. Founded in 2022, Orinno Capital is owned by Chengdu government-backed Chengdu Gaoxin District Holdings, and has ¥10B ($1.37B) registered capital. The funding will be used for reinforcing the merger between AG and the city of Chengdu.
Sources close to AG told The Esports Advocate that the funding will be used to accelerate the IPO process, and expect it to be completed sometime before 2025 – 2026.
Founded in 1999 in Chengdu, AG is one of the oldest esports organizations in China. While other esports organizations in China such as Invictus Gaming and Edward Gaming focus on international esports titles such as League of Legends and Dota 2, AG concentrates on domestic esports titles including Honor of Kings, Peacekeeper Elite, and CrossFire. In 2022, AG acquired the Rogue Warriors’ (RW) League of Legends Pro League (LPL) franchise slot and rebranded it to Anyone’s Legend (AL).
