German esports organization SK Gaming and digital and physical collectibles company Kolex announced Monday that they have collaborated on a new signature series collection  called the “SK Gaming Signature Series Collection” that is set to debut at Gamescom 2023—arguably the biggest gaming event in Europe—which takes place in Cologne, Germany, (at the Koelnmesse) Aug. 23 – 27.

During Gamescom 2023, SK Gaming and Kolex will be hosting a number of activations on the exhibition floor for fans, including a collaboration with gaming accessories company Cherry Xtrfy to host several dedicated autograph sessions. The signing sessions will feature over “2,500 signature cards adorned with more than 10 prominent SK Gaming players and creators,” according to a release.

SK Gaming is one of the oldest esports organizations in the world; founded in 1997 as “Schroet Kommando,” SK Gaming has earned more than 75 championships over the years and has been a major force in Quake, FIFA, Warcraft III, and—more importantly–Counter-Strike. The company currently fields teams in League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC), Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rocket League, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, and is the home of many high-profile content creators.

In addition to its partnership with Kolex, SK Gaming has partnerships and sponsorships in place with Deutsche Telekom, Mercedes-Benz Group AG, REWE Group, NH Hotel Group, Subway, Wortmann AG, VR-Perfekt, Lenovo Group’s Motorola, Western Digital’s WD Black brand, Matrix, and CHERRY XTRFY.

Kolex is an international physical and digital collectibles company that focuses on fostering an ecosystem for its collectible trading cards (buying, selling, gamifying the experience of the collector) with a keen focus on professional PUBG and Counter-Strike players and teams.

Kolex currently has partnerships with some of the most prominent esports organizations in the world including SK Gaming, Vitality, FaZe Clan, FURIA, G2 Esports, Fnatic, Astralis, BIG, Ninjas in Pajamas, NAVI, Team Liquid, Heroic, Evil Geniuses, Complexity Gaming, MOUZ, and ENCE—as well as a lineup of content creators/streamers from around the world.
