Online crypto-based gambling site Roobet has announced the Roobet Cup 2023, an online Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) competition set to begin in October for another round of events this October. This is the second time the online betting company has hosted such an event for CS:GO.

Running from Oct. 25 – Nov. 21, Roobet Cup 2023 will host 16 teams and offer an overall prize pool of $250K USD, with $150K of that pool going to the overall winner. Four of those teams (Ninjas in Pyjamas, Furia, BIG, and Astralis) have already been invited to participate.

Roobet, which describes itself as an “online crypto casino,” holds a Curacao gaming license, and is therefore considered a gray market gambling platform and not legal in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, China, Brazil, Australia, France, Denmark, India, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, and many other jurisdictions around the world.
