ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) announced Thursday that its FACEIT division has partnered with Danish esports organization Astralis.
Financial terms and duration of the deal were not disclosed.
Under the terms of the deal, Astralis will work with FACEIT to bring more than 100 new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments and collaborate to create on content for the FACEIT and Astralis Clan platforms and communities.
Astralis hopes that this deal will help it “provide closer engagement with the community by providing exclusive events and perks for fans and getting involved with the Astralis Main Team, talent team, and coach.”
In its announcement, Astralis said that the new partnership allows for “direct payment for activation and promotion,” and provides additional tools to create larger tournament formats than it was capable of facilitating in the past.
Further details about the deal can be found here.
FACEIT joins other Astralis sponsors and partners including hummel, OMEN by HP, Bybit, Secretlab, Boyu Sports, Logitech G, :Dribe, Stimorol Nordic, and Power, among others.
