Hasbro announced Friday that it has filled two senior executive roles: Former Riot Games exec Jason Bunge will join the company as its new chief marketing officer, while former Meta (Facebook) exec Roberta Thomson will take on the role of chief communications officer. Hasbro, best known for making toys and board games for decades, is also the parent company of Wizards of the Coast, which makes Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering.
Bunge is a game industry veteran and a marketing executive who spent the last 20 years working at such companies as League of Legends and Valorant maker Riot Games, Electronic Arts, and Microsoft, among others. In his new role, Bunge will report directly to Hasbro Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer Matt Austin.
Thomson is a communications veteran who brings nearly 20 years of experience working at such companies as Meta, Brunswick Group, and Deloitte. Thompson will report to CEO Chris Cocks and will lead a communications and corporate brand team.
