Horizon Union Partners With Sorare

Manchester-based esports organization Horizon Union announced Tuesday that it has partnered with global sports entertainment company Sorare.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Under the terms of the deal Horizon’s roster of FIFA esports pros and content creators will promote Sorare’s fantasy sports game through digital content and other activations.

In addition, Horizon will promote an in-game league and in-person football game activations across its various channels. Players participating in the “private in-game league will have a chance to win limited additional cards and Premier League tickets, according to a release.

Founded in 2017 by Kieran Wood and Will Mollett, Horizon Union describes itself as “a creator-first esports organisation based in the UK,” and is part of maedi company the Kairos Group. The organization is home to more than 45 content creators and also competes in FIFA and Apex Legends.

Sorare is a fantasy sports game featuring a marketplace with support for officially licensed digital player cards from the NBA, Premier League, Major League Baseball, and many other partners.
