Danish esports organization Astralis announced Monday that Commercial Director Kasper Sindt has left after more than two years to pursue a new and to-be-announced opportunity. With Sindt’s role left vacant, Astralis has decided to split the responsibilities of the role between two separate positions: Niclas Nybjerg will be promoted to the role of sales and commercial deliveries, while Mads Rasmussen has been promoted to sales director.

Rasmussen joined Astralis in January of 2022 as its senior partnership manager and has spent more than three years in the role before being promoted this week. Prior to joining the organization, Rasmussen spent more than two years as a strategic advisor at eBay’s Copenhagen division.

Niclas Nybjerg joined Astralis in January of 2020 as its senior sales manager, and has been promoted several times over his more than three years at the company – most recently serving as commercial lead for Pixel.tv & Astralis Nexus. Prior to joining Astralis, Nybjerg worked for Dansk Reklame Film A/S and citrusmedia in similar roles.
