Fortnite maker Epic Games and tournament organizer BLAST announced this week that they will work together for the third consecutive year on producing the entire 2023 Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS).

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

BLAST said in a release that it will work with the Competitive Fortnite team to produce three Majors and the Global Championship, which takes place in-person from Copenhagen, Denmark, in late 2023. BLAST first began working with Epic in 2021, when it produced the FNCS All-Star Showdown and FNCS Grand Royale events.

The 2023 FNCS season will feature a total prize pool of $10M USD, with $4M of that earmarked for the global championship. In addition, the 2023 season of FNCS will feature an all new format: three Majors played from February and March (Major One), April and May (Major Two) and July and August (Major Three). All three Majors will see the European and North American regions produced and broadcast from BLAST’s Copenhagen studios, with broadcast talent on-site and players playing remotely, according to a release.
