Sweden-based esports organization Alliance announced Tuesday that it has partnered with Chinese hotel chain Yuan Ye Qu. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Yuan Ye Qu has been named the strategic partner of Alliance, and the company will provide a training house for esports professional teams. In addition, the two companies will organize activities for fans to experience the life of being an esports professional player—the first stop of this activity will be the hotels and homestay in Changsha.
In the China esports market, Alliance has the Naraka Bladepoint division, and competes in Naraka Bladepoint Professional League (NBPL). The new season of NBPL 2023 will start on March 9. Alliance told The Esports Advocate that their partnership with Yuan Ye Qu would not just include its Naraka Bladepoint division, but also its popular Dota 2 division—Alliance won Dota 2’s The International in 2013.
