NotCo announced Tuesday that current Activision Blizzard Chief Marketing Officer Fernando Machado will be joining the company in April as its new chief marketing officer.
Prior to joining NotCo, Machado spent two years as CMO of Activision Blizzard, but he was probably hired by the company for his past experience as a marketing executive at major consumer brands in the U.S. including Restaurant Brands International, where he spent seven years; fast food restaurant chain Burger King, where he spent nearly six years, and Unilever where he spent more than 18 years.
NotCo is a plant-based food company that is best known for several products available in the U.S. including NotMilk, NotBurger, and NotChicken. The company claims that its products are available in 10,000 retail stores in the U.S. including Whole Foods Market, Sprouts, Stop & Shop, Kroger, Fresh Market, Imperfect Foods, and at Amazon.
