Paris-based esports organization Team Vitality announced Friday the launch of a new content series revolving around the Valorant Champions Tour called “MISSION: VCT 23.” The new series will showcase the organization’s Valorant team as it competes throughout the 2023 season, according to a release.

Inspired by sci-fi television shows and movies such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Trek, the first episode (Hero Movie) in the series features Valorant pros Jokūbas ‘ceNder’ Labutis, Santeri ‘BONECOLD’ Sassi, Michał ‘MOLSI’ Łącki, Tomas ‘Destrian Linikas and Karel ‘Twisten’ Ašenbrener. Sponsor JBL Quantum is briefly highlighted in the video, with all sponsors getting some screen time in the “To be continued” shot at the end of the video.

In addition, Team Vitality’s fan experience app H.Vive (created with partner Tezos) is running a contest for users where they can take part in a related quest for a chance to win a “wearable for their V.Hive Avatar,” the cosmonaut helmet inspired by the VCT23 roster.

Team Vitality notes in its announcement that the content series is being developed by Hamburg, Germany-based production company More Than Visuals.

The team is getting ready to compete in the Valorant Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN, which begins on Feb. 13, in São Paulo, Brazil.
