New Meta Entertainment-owned esports organization Dignitas announced Monday that it has signed top Fortnite pro player and 2019 World Cup Champion Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf to the organization. The company said with this acquisition it aims to be the top Fortnite organization in the world.
On a related note, Dignitas recently announced that it has re-signed Philadelphia Eagles running back Boston Scott as both a brand ambassador and content creator for the organization. Scott will also serve as an “official substitute player of the Dignitas Rocket League roster,” the company said in a release.
Financial terms and duration of these deals were not disclosed.
Dignitas currently competes in League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), Rocket League, and now Fortnite. The organization left Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition in 2022.
