Displate announced Wednesday that it has inked a sponsorship/partnership deal with the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) for the 2023 season. Financial terms of the deal—which was facilitated by SPORTFIVE—were not disclosed.

As part of the sponsorship deal, Displate will work with the league to create and make available to the public for purchase metal posters featuring teams and players. In addition, Displate will be integrated into broadcasts for France, Germany, Spain, and the LEC global feed throughout the year.

While this isn’t the first game-related partnership for Displate, it does mark its very first with an esports league. The company already has partnerships in place with game makers and brands such as Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Blizzard, Bethesda, and many others.

Displate is one of the first new sponsors to be announced this season, but more are expected to be revealed before the LEC Winter season kicks off on Jan 21, at the Riot Studio in Berlin, Germany.
