With the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) kicking off at 5 p.m. EST (2 p.m. PT) on Thursday, now is a good time to run down who this year’s partners and sponsors will be for the North American league.

First, Mastercard will continue its partnership with the LCS, serving as the presenting partner of the “opening day.” Mastercard will also continue its “Player of the Week” sweepstake program, allowing fans to vote for their favorite players for a chance to win a “POTW custom statue.” More information on that can be found here (no purchase necessary, but must be 18+ to participate). Fans in attendance at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles may also attend an after-hours party, get exclusive merchandise, take part in player meet-and-greets, get special perks for being Mastercard Priceless members. Mastercard will also sponsor the official “opening ceremony,” featuring League of Legends player, tough guy, and content creator Tyler “loltyler1” Steinkamp.

Riot Games also announced that the LCS Spring Finals will take place on April 8-9, at PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. Ticket sales begin on Jan. 26, with Mastercard providing a pre-sale.

Food delivery service GrubHub will serve as the presenting sponsor of the LCS Spring Finals and the LCS Championship, and will offer activations and giveaways including delivery drops during the splits to LoLEsports.com viewers, “Delivering the Win” promo codes, and “Hextech Chest giveaways.”

Verizon returns as a partner and will once again sponsor the “Verizon Post Game Interview” segment during broadcasts throughout the 2023 season.

Fantasy sports app Sleeper and Samsung Fast Five SSD will team up to power “Fantasy LCS” again this year. As part of an expanded relationship with LCS this year, Samsung SSD will also produce a series of broadcast segments with the league branded as “powered by Samsung Memory technology.”

Secretlab will continue its relationship with the LCS, providing seating for fans and players at the Riot Games Arena.

Red Bull will continue as the official energy drink and run the “Red Bull Baron Power Play” segments during broadcasts.

Finally, Buffalo Wild Wings returns as an LCS partner this year, and will offer a $9.99 USD meal combo for lolesports.com viewers.
