More Thunderpick World Championship 2024 details revealed.

Online esports wagering platform Thunderpick announced additional details Tuesday on the Thunderpick World Championship 2024, the final leg of its Counter-Strike 2 competition series of 2024 offering a total prize pool of $1M USD, set to take place in Berlin, Germany, in November.

Thunderpick announced that HEROIC, M80, Fnatic, and Team Falcons will join Bestia, BIG Clan, BLEED, Cloud9, Imperial, and Team Legacy to compete in an online Group Stage, taking place Oct. 21 – 25, followed by Quarterfinals on Oct. 26. This follows six qualifier rounds across three global regions (Europe, North America, and South America) which began in April. This will lead to the final teams competing in the Grands Finals at an in-person event in Berlin on Nov. 2.

Esports wagering data platform GRID will serve as the official esports services provider and data partner of the Thunderpick World Championship. The tournament is hosted in collaboration with data partner GRID.

The Thunderpick World Championship 2024 raised the total prize pool from its 2023 event from $600K to $1M this year.

Thunderpick is a competitive gaming-focused crypto-gambling and casino platform operated by Paloma Media B.V., and licensed and regulated through a Curaçao gambling license.
