FaZe Clan announced this week what it describes as a “multi-year, multi-million-dollar sponsorship and licensing deal” with energy drink brand G FUEL. As part of the new deal, FaZe Media will also receive an “equity component in G FUEL,” the specific on that were not disclosed. This also marks the first long-term sponsorship deal for FaZe Media as a stand-alone entity separate from esports.

Reuniting with G FUEL  is a full circle moment for us,” said FaZe Banks, CEO of FaZe Media and founder of FaZe Clan. “As we focus on reconnecting with our roots, this partnership represents more than just a business deal—it’s a revival of the legendary history from the OG FaZe days. We’re excited to kick off this new chapter with G FUEL and look forward to creating content and new products together.”

The first collaboration as part of this deal will see G FUEL serve as the presenting sponsor for the FaZe Clan Subathon, a month-long streaming marathon running during the month of  September. As part of that, the FaZe House will be renamed the “FaZe G FUEL House” as an homage of sorts to FaZe Clan’s original NYC house that G FUEL sponsored way back in 2014. FaZe Media and G FUEL will plan additional n-person collaborations and co-branded products throughout the partnership, according to a release.

Publicly traded esports and gaming company  GameSquare’s (NASDAQ: GAME)  has a financial stake in FaZe Media, but owns 100% of all esports-related teams under the “FaZe Clan” brand name.
