ESL FACEIT Group Renews and Expands Partnership with DHL

International tournament and festival company ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) and logistics and shipping company DHL Group announced a multi-year extension of their long-standing partnership.

Financial details of the extended deal were not disclosed.

DHL has been a strong partner of EFG’s international Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 competitive scenes since 2018. That partnership will “continue for years to come” in supporting these events and related circuits, with the promise of expanding into additional EFG products. DHL will now also serve as the official logistics partner and expand into the Snapdragon Pro Series, EFG’s multi-title mobile esports league. Additionally, DHL will also begin to support multiple DreamHack gaming festivals globally.

DHL will also continue to use its logistics expertise to support EFG by “managing the transport of the necessary stage and broadcast technology, assisting with video installations and facilitating the distribution of monitors and gaming chairs,” according to a release. DHL will continue its marketing campaigns including its MVP award program, while EFG will promote its brand at events, during broadcasts, and across social media and streaming platforms.

Friday’s news follows EFG’s announcement on Thursday that it has partnered with Unilever food brands including Knorr, Pot Noodle, and Unox for Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Cologne 2024 and 2025, as well as ESL Pro League Season 21.

ESL FACEIT Group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Savvy Games Group—which in turn is owned by the Saudi government’s Public Investment Fund and its Chairman of the board is Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler HRH Crown Prince MBS. EFG is home to tournament organizer ESL, Esports Engine, competition platform FACEIT, and esports and gaming festival company DreamHack.
