North America-based gaming lifestyle company XSET announced this week a new collaboration with DJ and musical artist Kaskade that aims to “bridge the worlds of gaming and music like never before,” according to a release.

Financial terms of this collaboration were not disclosed.

The partnership between XSET and Kaskade will include an exclusive, co-branded merchandise collection, collaborative content, live streaming events, and an interactive gaming lounge at Breakaway Music Festival.

“Certain things go together. Cereal and milk, tacos and Tuesday, music and gaming,” said Kaskade in a release. “I’ve always loved it when worlds of mine crash together, and I’m stoked to be partnering with XSET on some product drops, gaming interactions, and whatever else we can imagine that might bring our worlds together.”

On Wednesday (June 5) Kaskade joins Fortnite content creator and esports player XSET Clix for a livestream on Twitch, followed by the “KASSETte” clothing collection releasing on June 27. That collection will feature “bold designs that celebrate the dynamic evolution of gaming and music hoodies, t-shirts, and other accessories.” The t-shirt in the collection was designed by Pleasure co-founder and XSET Designer in Residence Alex James.

On June 28, XSET will join Kaskade at the Breakaway Festival in Minnesota, where fans will be able to purchase exclusive XSET and Kaskade merchandise at the XSET Gaming Lounge, meet both Kaskade and Clix, and witness a live stream and a live performance from Kaskade during the event

In case you are not familiar with Kaskade, he has been creating electronic music for over two decades, has been nominated for the Grammy Awards seven times, created 12 studio albums, and has the distinction of being the first solo electronic dance artist to sell out both Navy Pier in Chicago and the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and the only DJ to have played the Grand Canyon West Skywalk, the only musician to create an entire season of music for video game Rocket League, has held a Fortnite feature concert, and is the first electronic artist to ever headline Coachella.

The Breakaway Music Festival is the largest U.S.-based multi-city festival with stops in Kansas City (June 14-15), Minnesota (June 28-29), Michigan (Aug. 16-17), Worcester, Ma. (Sept. 6-7), Charlotte, North Carolina (Sept. 27-28), Nashville (Oct. 11-12), and the Bay Area (Oct. 25-26).
