Level Infinite revals the first 2024 Honor of Kings Partnership Program teams
Level Infinite (a Tencent global game brand) announced the launch of the Honor of Kings Partnership Program, an incentive program that directly invites teams already participating in the Honor of Kings esports ecosystem.
The first teams to join the new program are REX REGUM QEON (Southeast Asia), ISURUS (Latin America), and FUT ESPORTS (Türkiye). Level Infinite said in a release that additional teams in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and Western Europe will be announced on June 11 and June 12, respectively. Teams from Southeast Asia, Brazil, Türkiye, the Middle East and North Africa, Europe, Latin America, North America, South Korea, and Japan will be announced, with a full list of participants to be revealed at Gamescom Latam 2024 (in the last week in June in São Paulo, Brazil).
According to a release, the benefits to teams joining the program include receiving direct invite priority to tournaments and promotional support from official Honor of Kings social media channels.
“The Honor of Kings Partnership Program is a win-win way for us to support organizations that have shown a deep commitment to supporting the growth of Honor of Kings,” said James Yang, Senior Director of Level Infinite Global Esports Center. “Esports organizations are an invaluable part of the equation to grow Honor of Kings around the globe. With this program, we’re recognizing their value with fans, and will work closely with the partners to collaborate on exciting Honor of Kings esports content.”
While we assume there are some sort of financial benefits to teams joining the program, Level Infinite did not provide any details on this aspect of the new initiative beyond direct invites and promotion on social media platforms.
Earlier this year Level Infinite announced that it would inject $15M USD into the Honor of Kings ecosystem. In February, Level Infinite and the Esports World Cup Foundation announced that its popular MOBA title would join the upcoming Esports World Cup this summer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as a key competitive title. In March, both companies announced that they had signed a three-year deal to make sure that Honor of Kings would continue to be a key title at the annual event for the foreseeable future.
