Financial terms and duration of the deal were not disclosed. Nerve Gaming is being supported by a “generous grant from the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation,” according to a release.

In addition to supporting three competitive teams (Rocket League, Apex Legends, and Call of Duty Warzone), Nerve Gaming will be offering several community components including opportunities for individuals with disabilities to test and give feedback on “new technologies and adaptive gaming equipment at partner venues,” gameplay coaching that addresses the specialized needs of participants, support for content creators and streamers, competitive esports tournaments in Atlanta, and local community game nights. Regular community game nights and coaching services will be supported by Ghost Gaming Academy. 

“Like millions of other able-bodied esports enthusiasts, individuals with disabilities enjoy gaming and want to be active members of this community: playing, competing, creating content, and even earning money,” said Dr. Mitchell Tepper, president of the United Spinal Association of Georgia. “We are thrilled to partner with Ghost Gaming to give our community access to team management, premier esports coaching, content creation expertise, and tournament organization infrastructure for our growing community.”

Atlanta-based Ghost Gaming supports a roster of professional esports players and manages creators across several video game titles including Fortnite, Rocket League, Valorant, and Call of Duty, among others.
