Rivalry Renews With Blacklist International for Blacklist Rivalry

Publicly-traded sports and esports betting and media company Rivalry announced Tuesday that it has signed an extension and expansion of its partnership with Blacklist International to continue supporting Blacklist Rivalry, a jointly-operated esports team competing in Dota 2 formed between the two companies in December 2022.

Financial terms of this renewed partnership were not disclosed. 

Blacklist International (a division of Tier One Entertainment) and Rivalry will extend their partnership into 2024 with the naming rights deal and a new an emphasis on improving “creative storytelling and fan-focused activations,” including meet-and-greets, activations at Dota 2 events, and producing new episodes of the
UnRivaled” docuseries, which chronicles Blacklist Rivalry’s competitive journey and provides a behind-the-scenes look into the lives of the Southeast Asia-based esports athletes.

On a related note,  Blacklist Rivalry has also revealed its official roster, which is set to compete in multiple  Dota 2 tournaments throughout 2024. Featuring a mix of veterans and new talents, the 2024 roster includes Abed Azel “Abed” L. Yusop, Kim “Gabbi” Santos, Timothy John “Tims” Randrup, Juan “Carlo” Chua Manalo, Jinn Marrey “Palos” Lamatao, and Coach Kim “DuBu” Doo-young.
