Following the conclusion of the BLAST R6 Six Invitational 2024 World Championships in São Paulo, Brazil, this weekend, Rainbow Six Siege publisher Ubisoft announced that the Six Invitational 2025 will be hosted somewhere in the United States, and the Six Invitational 2026 will be held somewhere in France, with exact locations to be revealed at a later date. Ubisoft also noted once again that the BLAST R6 Majors in 2024 will be hosted in Manchester, England, and Montréal, Canada, later this year.

The news comes on the heels of w7m esports being crowned BLAST R6 Six Invitational 2024 World Champions, beating FaZe Clan 3-2 in a best-of-5 Grand Final hosted at São Paulo’s Ginásio do Ibirapuera. Ubisoft also noted that a “record” 521,323 viewers tuned in online via streaming platforms and more than 9,000 fans attended the event in person.

wm7 esports took home $1M USD—the lion’s share of the combined $3M prize pool—from the two week competition that saw 20 teams from nine different regions competing to make it to the grand finals.

The next stop for Rainbow Six esports is the BLAST R6 Major Manchester 2024, with the group phase officially getting underway on May 16. More details on the BLAST R6 Major Manchester 2024 can be found here.
