Riot Games announced Thursday that this year’s Valorant Champions skin bundle has managed to generate $40M USD since its launch on Aug. 4, with four more days left until it is no longer available to the public.

The in-game bundle is a way for Riot to give back to the 16 partnered organizations in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT), with approximately 50%, or $20M, being split evenly amongst teams. That equates to roughly $1.25M in revenue (as of this writing) for each team, on top of any prize money being earned this week in Los Angeles during the Valorant Champions 2023 Finals.

The Valorant Champions 2023 began on Thursday (Aug. 24), with an in-person, Upper-Bracket Final & Lower-Bracket Semifinal (both best-of-three). On Friday (Aug. 25), a best-of-five (bo5) of the tournament in the Lower-Bracket Final will take place, followed by the Valorant Champions 2023 Grand Final on Saturday (Aug. 26).

Teams that have secured a spot at this year’s championship include T1, DRX, Fnatic, Evil Geniuses, NRG Esports, Team Liquid, Paper Rex, LOUD, FUT Esports, NAVI, EDward Gaming, FunPlus Phoenix, Giants Gaming, KRÜ Esports, and ZETA DIVISION.
