India-based tournament organizer and events company Skyesports announced this week that live streaming platform Loco will serve as the official broadcasting partner for its city-based, franchised Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) esports tournament, Skyesports Masters. In addition, Loco will serve as the official sponsor for all eight franchised esports teams participating in the tournament.

Financial terms of this deal were not disclosed.

Under the terms of the deal, Loco will live stream LAN Playoffs at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium in Bangalore on Aug. 26 and 27, through its website and mobile app. The playoffs, which are open to all for free, will also feature on-site events and activations including the show-matches, meet-and-greets, brand booths, and a music show. Tickets for the event are currently available on Paytm Insider.

Some sponsors will have booths and activations during the event including AMD and Zebronics, and organizers promise other activities including live entertainment and the “Skyesports Award Ceremony,” featuring the top teams from the Skyesports Champions Series – BGMI. The Skyesports Masters is sponsored by AMD, Windows 11, Flipkart, 1xBet, and Zebronics.

Loco is also partnering with the eight franchised esports teams including Velocity Gaming, Enigma Gaming, Revenant Esports, Reckoning Esports, Medal Esports, Gods Reign, Marcos Gaming, and 7Sea Esports.

Skyesports Masters features a total prize pool of 2 Crore INR, or roughly $245K USD.
