North American scholastic and amateur esports platform PlayVS announced Tuesday a partnership with Emerge Apparel to become the official ecommerce and merchandising provider for PlayVS high school esports leagues for the upcoming academic year.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.

PlayVS noted in a release that the partnership with Emerge will allow the company to offer PlayVS-participating high school programs to “set up an online storefront to purchase and sell customized esports gear, which could include “customized jerseys, jackets, hoodies, collared shirts, headwear and more.” Emerge will manage the  process, including hosting a program’s custom online store, as well as designing, printing, shipping, and fulfilling orders.

High schools will also be able to use their storefronts as fundraising tools for their esports programs.

Schools looking to create customized products ahead of the Fall season can begin the storefront onboarding process at emergeapparel.gg or through this form
