Abios, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malta-based Kambi Group, announced Monday a data partnership with GRID, an in-game data solution for game publishers, tournament organizers, and commercial clients.
Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
Under the terms of this new partnership, GRID will provide Abios with real-time data from tier 1 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Valorant, and Dota 2 tournaments to be used to power its odds feeds. This data will “enhance Abios esports odds feed and widgets”, with the “odds built on top of real-time data” available to Abios and Kambi’s existing and new partners.
Abios said in a release that will allow it to “create live markets with higher uptime” and “enables a high degree of automation in odds models.”
GRID claims to offer direct partnerships with over 90 rights holders such as Riot Games, Krafton, WePlay, and PGL. The company also claims that its data is used by “over 350 commercial clients in more than 20 use cases, such as betting, integrity, media, player coaching, or talent scouting.”
