India-based esports organization Global Esports has partnered with Vancouver-based esports performance and wellness company Adamas Esports to support and foster “out-of-game performance” of its Valorant roster.

Financial terms and duration of the deal were not disclosed.

Global Esports’ Valorant team competes in South Asia in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Asia-Pacific league. The company said in a release that it will utilize the resources of Adamas to prepare players for the last chance qualifier that will take place July 15 – 23—the final shot for teams that aim to secure a spot in the competition.  Global Esports believes that players need more than just in-game skills to succeed; they also need “mental strength, resilience, and consistent performance.”

The partnership represents the first time that Adamas Esports has worked with a team outside of North America and Europe, and represents its first foray into Asia.

Global Esports fields a number of teams in India and Asia, competing in PUBG, Apex Legends, Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, Dota 2, Fortnite, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
