DreamHack Dallas Will Feature Seven Esports Competitions With a Total Prize Pool of $933K USD

ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) revealed details on DreamHack Dallas, which takes place June 2 -4, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. DreamHack Dallas will feature a number of activities for fans, but will also serve up seven esports competitions including IEM Dallas 2023 (part of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition series through the Intel Extreme Masters), the Halo Championship Series Global Invitational, all-women Rocket League competition Rocket Clash, and much more. Those seven competitions will offer a total prize pool of $933K USD across the three-day event, according to a release.

During IEM Dallas 2023, the top 16 CS:GO teams in North America will compete for a share of a $250K prize pool and a chance to complete at Intel Grand Slam V. The winner of IEM Dallas will also automatically qualify for the Group Stage of IEM Cologne 2023,  offering a $1M prize pools—that takes place July 25-Aug. 6.

DreamHack Dallas will host one of two Halo Championship Series Global Invitationals this season.  Sixteen (16) teams representing North America, Europe, Mexico, and Oceania will compete for a total prize pool of $125K.

North America and Europe’s top all-women Rocket League trios will compete for the $20K Rocket Clash prize purse. Online qualifiers and group stages will be used to narrow down squads to two teams from each region to compete live at the festival on June 3.

Eight (8) of the world’s top CS:GO all-women squads will compete at the three-day ESL Impact Dallas Finals for a piece of a $123K prize pool and crown a winner of League Season 3 of ESL Impact, part of EFG’s #GGFORALL initiative.

The Collegiate Rocket League World Championship will see 16 of the best teams from North America and Europe compete for a share of a $75K prize pool. The group stage takes place June 2-3, with the eight remaining teams competing in a single-elimination bracket on June 4.

Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) DreamHack Dallas ticket-holders can also compete in a three-day, $250K Fortnite tournament, “DreamHack Open Featuring Fortnite.” The top 10 duos can also qualify for Gamers8 Featuring Fortnite, a $2M event taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 28-31.

Finally, DreamHack Fighters will offer a total prize pool of $90K and will feature competition in the top fighting games including Brawlhalla, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Guilty Gear Strive, TEKKEN 7, King of Fighters XV, and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
