Cloud9 Strengthens Partnership Team With New Hires

Los Angeles-based esports organization Cloud9 announced Thursday that it has hired two new people to shore up its partnerships department: Meghan Anderson Luo and Brian Tran.

Anderson Luo, who has been appointed as the organization’s new partnerships manager, comes from King and Country, where she worked as a producer,  collaborating  with clients such as Food Network, NBC Sports, and Electronic Arts. Prior to that, she spent nearly three years at Immortals in several roles including partnerships activations manager, and graphic designer and partnership coordinator. Before Immortals, she spent more than two years as an account manager for LA-based custom apparel company Imprint Revolution.

Tran, who joins the organization as its new partnerships account manager. Most recently worked at Gen.G Esports for more than a year in a similar role. Prior to that, Tran  held various positions at companies such as End Game Summit, Boom.tv, and TIAA, among others.

Cloud9 currently has partnerships with Red Bull, Secretlab, Twitch, PolygonKingston FURY, and AT&T. The company also fields rosters in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Halo, Hearthstone, League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), League of Legends Challengers, Valorant, Teamfight Tactics, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. Cloud9 also operates the Overwatch League team London Spitfire and currently employs a number of streamers and content creators.
