Amazon-owned streaming platform Twitch announced Thursday that its annual fan and gaming event TwitchCon will return to France and the United States later this year.
The company announced TwitchCon Paris, which will be hosted at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on July 8-9. For the U.S., Twitch revealed that it will make its Las Vegas debut with TwitchCon Vegas, taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Oct. 20-22.
TwitchCon is a celebration of content creators where fans can meet-and-greet “streamers, gamers, chatters, moderators, cosplayers, communities, and more.” Last year the events were hosted in Amsterdam and San Diego.
Twitch did not reveal too many details such as what exhibitors would be attending, panels, and esports competitions through its Twitch Rivals events, but we assume that these things will be announced as we get closer to the dates for both shows. Twitch does promise “live performances, esports showdowns, official streamer meet-and-greet sessions, artists showcasing their creations,” and more.
A call for sponsors, partners, content ideas, exhibitors, and more has been put out. More information on that can be found here.
