Tournament organizer ESL FACEIT Group and BBC Studios will debut the esports documentary, “Game and Glory” on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 5 p.m. CET (4 p.m. GMT/11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT) through its official Counter-Strike Twitch and YouTube channels. The documentary chronicles the triumphs and tribulations of the world’s top Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) players as they competed in the Intel Extreme Masters CS:GO Major Championship in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, between Oct. 31 – Nov. 13, 2022.

One of the largest events in ESL FACEIT Group’s history, the CS:GO Major featured a total prize pool of $1.25M USD, and was the most-watched ESL competition in the company’s history and the third most-watched CS:GO competition of all time.

The documentary attempts to capture the personal side of some of the world’s best CS:GO players including Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato, and Casper “cadiaN” Møller, as they competed for the biggest prize of the season. The documentary also features CS:GO-caster Alex “MACHINE” Richardson, who narrates key moments during the film.

Watch the premiere of the documentary  on YouTube, or join watch parties on Twitch—including one hosted by retired Brazilian CS:GO player and coach Alexandre “Gaules” Borba.
