VPN service ExpressVPN has announced a four-part push into some of the biggest esports events in the ecosystem. Today, the company announced official partnerships with the LEC, VCT EMEA and Americas, Berlin-based esports organization G2 Esports, and European competitive World of Warcraft guild Method.

ExpressVPN will be the official VPN partner for each entity in the group. This also marks a renewal of ExpressVPN’s deal with the LEC, which was first signed in August of 2025. Last year, the company also signed a deal with Team Vitality.

According to the announcement, the deal will include activations across broadcasts and creator content, exclusive in-game rewards and livestream drops, and various giveaways and other promotions held throughout the year.

As part of its gaming push, the company has created a dedicated social channel for gaming content that will offer its own giveaways and exclusive content.

While the bulk of this sponsorship push is in top-tier leagues and big-name orgs, Method and World of Warcraft stand out. Activision Blizzard’s official esports circuits for World of Warcraft are not especially popular compared to even tier 2 esports like Rocket League or Rainbow Six Siege. However, Method became a household name in the community by pioneering a unique form of broadcast competition: the Race to World First. While now a routine dark horse in the competition, Method will host its own 24/7 broadcast beginning March 24 as it tries to be the first guild in the world to defeat the latest endgame content in WoW’s latest expansion, Midnight. Broadcasts for the event’s favorites, Echo and Team Liquid, routinely top Twitch figures during these unique marathons

“I knew there was an incredible opportunity to once again showcase World of Warcraft at the forefront of competitive gaming with an amazing usecase for ExpressVPN,” said Method’s Head of Partnerships, Liam Whitehead, in a LinkedIn post following the announcement. “This partnership will showcase exactly how Methods & MMORPGs communities are utilising streamers, players, broadcasts, and web assets to highlight all the tools available to keep yourself safe online.”
