The Mobile, Esports and Gaming Alliance (MEGA), the company behind the Esports Awards, has formally announced the promotion of long-time show producer Morgan Tremaine to its senior leadership team. As Executive Producer, Tremaine will oversee publisher, commercial, and strategic partner relations across MEGA’s events. He will also support the agency side of MEGA’s operations.

Tremaine has served as a producer for the Esports Awards since 2023. He previously worked for Esports Engine as a Creative Producer and has experience in more mainstream media with companies such as Sinclair Broadcast Group and TMZ. He also founded broadcast rundown software company Cuer and serves as its CEO.

According to a release, this promotion is part of MEGA’s move into its “next phase of growth.”

“Morgan has been a pivotal part of producing our flagship Esports Awards show, and promoting him to Executive Producer marks a defining moment for MEGA, as we aim to take our event IPs to new heights,” said Michael Ashford, Co-Founder of MEGA, in a release. “We are confident that, with Morgan, MEGA will continue to set the standard for live esports and entertainment experiences, delivering unforgettable moments for our audiences and partners alike.”

In addition to the Esports Awards and its sister show, the Decade Awards, MEGA also ran The Mobile Gaming Awards (Mobies) in 2024. The show featured Samsung Galaxy as a presenting sponsor.

In 2024, The Esports Awards announced a three-year partnership agreement with the Esports World Cup to host its show from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
