Michelin becomes a key partner of Rocket League Esports.

Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) announced Thursday that Michelin has been named an official partner of the league dedicated to Rocket League esports.

Financial terms and duration of this new deal were not disclosed.

As part of the deal, Michelin branding will appear in-game, on social media, in broadcast, and in other media.

Michelin is an international tire maker and brand that manufactures tires for several sectors including space shuttles, aircraft, automobiles, heavy equipment (construction vehicles, farm equipment, etc.), motorcycles, and bicycles. Outside of the transportation field, Michelin is best known for the Michelin Guide, which gives ratings for fine dining restaurants around the world.

The announcement was made just as the RLCS 2026 Boston Major kicked off in Boston. The RLCS Boston Major represents the first arena event in the 2026 competitive calendar and will feature 16 of the world’s top-ranked Rocket League teams competing for a share of a $354,000 USD total prize pool and league ranking points.

Taking place Feb. 19-22 at the Agganis Arena at the Boston University campus, the four day competition will feature two days of live arena competition. Tournament organizer BLAST said in its announcement that the Major will feature four North American teams.

Earlier this month BLAST announced that it had partnered with Meet Boston to serve as the “official destination partner” for the competition.
