International tournament organizer PGL officially unveiled the “PGL Esports Station,” a standardized hardware platform that will be used at all PGL tournaments throughout 2026. The setup to be used by competitors at events will utilize high-end PC and gaming components from its partner, ASUS and its gaming brand Republic of Gamers (ROG).
This will include the ROG Strix XG248QSG Ace, which “has been officially designated as the tournament monitor for the upcoming season,” according to PGL’s announcement.
Financial terms of this new deal with ASUS were not disclosed.
PGL said in its announcement Friday that every competitive station will feature the ROG Strix XG248QSG Ace, described as a 24.1-inch Full HD Super-TN panel monitor, offering a refresh rate up to 610 Hz (overclocked) with ultra-low input lag.

- Response Time: 0.1 ms minimum (0.8 ms input lag measurement).

PGL is gearing up to launch PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, its tier-1 Counter-Strike 2 competition to be hosted in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca.
