The National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) and ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced a strategic partnership on Tuesday.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Under the terms of this new partnership, ROG products will be used and featured across NECC-sponsored events in 2026. This includes the ROG G700 and GM700 gaming desktops. In addition, ROG will provide program support, product integration, research initiatives, and event activations. ASUS, the parent company of ROG, will serve as a title sponsor of the NECC National Championships taking place this May in San Antonio, Texas.

“Today marks an exciting milestone for collegiate esports,” said Jacob VanRyn, NECC commissioner & CEO. “This partnership has been a long time in the making, and we are proud to align with the world’s leading gaming hardware brand. Our conversations with the ROG team have always centered on supporting the growth of the collegiate esports community. We’re confident this relationship will deliver meaningful value to our member institutions and the student-athletes.”

ASUS ROG joins other NEEC sponsors and partners including Rally Cry, Extron, Victory Ring, LeagueOS, ByteSpeed, FITGMR, and Pangea Learning, among others.
