Peripherals brand ZOWIE announced Tuesday that it has signed a partnership deal with German esports organization CGN Esports.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Under the terms of this new deal ZOWIE will become the official monitor partner of CGN Esports, with a specific focus on the organization’s top-performing Valorant team.
The new partnership will focus on supporting the CGN’s Valorant team “in training and competitive play,” and providing the team with equipment for competition. The companies will also work together on branding, marketing, activations, and more across social media and content creation platforms in 2026.
“CGN Esports boasts one of the loudest fanbases in the DACH region and top performance as the Valorant DACH record champions – with the clear goal of making another international run in 2026,” said ZOWIE Marketing Lead Esports Dennis Jansen. “As their official monitor partner, we support the team with our hardware and see enormous potential for strong activations in their combination of performance, fan engagement, and creators.”
The sponsorship is set to run until 2026, according to ZOWIE, and will work on hardware support, joint activations, events, and content formats, among other activities.
ZOWIE said in its announcement that the first steps of this new relationship began in 2025 with select activations with the organization including the ZOWIE Aim Challenge on ZOWIE monitors during the VCL Valorant DACH Finals in Berlin (this initial collaboration developed into a long-term sponsorship partnership). The companies also worked together in November at the ZOWIE Days in Cologne, Germany, where they collaborated on the “community and performance event.” Finally, CGN Experience areas in the MediaMarktSaturn XPERION Cologne on Hansaring are already fully equipped with ZOWIE monitors.
Founded in 2020, CGN Esports (Cologne Gaming Network Esports) operates esports teams in the DACH region (Deutschland, or Germany; Austria, and Confoederatio Helvetica, or the Swiss Confederation). The organization currently fields teams in Valorant, Fortnite, World of Warcraft, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. ZOWIE is a popular gaming peripherals brand owned by Taiwan-based consumer electronics company BenQ Corporation.
