International gaming and culture publication Dexerto Media Group recently announced the appointment of Luke Bristow as its new president.
Bristow formally announced his exit from his previous employer MNC in December, where he served as CEO. Prior to that Bristow helped co-found media company NewGen (formerly Kairos), and served as COO, a board director and a shareholder.
In this new role, Bristow will “work closely with Dexerto’s founders and senior leadership team to support the company’s next phase of growth.” Further, he will focus on “shaping Dexerto’s long-term growth strategy, strengthening and scaling its commercial and operational foundations, and preparing the business for strategic transactions, partnerships, and inorganic expansion,” according to the announcement.
“Luke brings deep experience across media, commercial strategy, and business transformation,” said Joshua Nino, CEO and co-founder at Dexerto. “As we prepare the business for its next phase of scale — including strategic partnerships and potential acquisitions — Luke’s leadership will be instrumental in helping Dexerto grow globally while staying true to the DNA that has hardwired our brands into today’s cultural zeitgeist.”
Founded in 2015, Dexerto describes itself as the “world’s leading youth culture publishers,” and employs more than 100 staff members globally. The publication covers gaming, gaming and internet culture, esports and more across online print, social media, short-form video platforms, and more.
