Valhallan Esports and XP League announce a merger, forming the largest youth esports academy in North America.

Youth-focused esports training academy Valhallan announced this week that it has acquired XP League, a North American-based youth esports events company.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The companies will merge operations, forming what they describe as “the largest unified youth esports academy in North America.”

Valhallan and XP League will operate a fully integrated youth esports platform that includes dozens of training centers and competitive locations across the United States; coaching and curriculum designed for youth development; a nationwide league competition that includes a schedule of seasonal play, regional playoffs, tournaments, and national championships;  the ability for VHEL & XPL league operations to cross-compete; coach-led teams that will focus on teaching teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth; age-appropriate skill-based competition that prioritize safety and integrity; and the ability to foster and grow a “digital athletics” pipeline for professional leagues in North America.

Under the new unified structure, Valhallan will take the reins of competitive operations, league structure, and season planning for XP League. Both organizations have committed to a “smooth transition for franchise owners, coaches, players, and families.”

“This merger creates the first truly national infrastructure for youth esports,” said CEO Morris Jackson, at Valhallan. “By combining XP League’s proven competitive league system with Valhallan’s training centers, coaching, and curriculum, we’re building a future-ready platform that puts development, safety, and opportunity first.”

“For years, XP League has provided a trusted competitive environment for young players and families,” said COO Andrew Aultman, at Valhallan. “Partnering with Valhallan allows XP League to significantly expand access to professional coaching, standardized training, and  national competition — all within a structure parents and communities already trust.”

The new combined company offers over 50 locations across 20 states, allowing the thousands of players that are already in the system continue to compete weekly, including hundreds of high school and middle school teams, youth organizations, church groups, and other LAN centers.
