OG Esports and Melbet announced a global partnership Tuesday in tandem with the organization formally entering Southeast Asia with an all-Filipino Dota 2 roster. OG is calling the deal and the new roster from the Philippines “one of the biggest cross-regional partnerships in recent years.”

Financial terms of the deal with Melbet were not disclosed.

Under the terms of this new deal, Melbet will become a key supporter of OG’s competitive ambitions and content initiatives for the year, with collaboration on branded content, live appearances, community-led activations, and a “comprehensive storytelling framework that highlights OG’s competitive journey in Southeast Asia.” Melbet will also support the team with training, logistics, and fan engagement efforts. OG’s Dota 2 will also promote the brand through content, social media , and will be featured prominently on player jerseys during competitions.

OG added in its announcement that this particular partnership’s timing aligns with a broader strategy to “re-establish global competitive momentum while investing in regions driving the future of esports viewership.”

“Partnering with Melbet is a powerful step in our long-term commitment to the SEA region,” said OG Esports CEO Xavier Oswald. “Together, we’re not just showing up on stage, we’re investing in developing and supporting Southeast Asian talents, both in-game and behind the scenes. SEA is one of the beating hearts of esports, and with Melbet at our side, we want to give local players, creators, and fans the platform they deserve.”

Headquartered in Nicosia, Cyprus, Melbet is an established online betting and casino games platform that holds a Curaçao gaming license. The company’s services are not legal to use in the United States, but are available in other regions including the Philippines.
