EA Sports announced its plans for the Madden Bowl in 2026, taking place in the Bay Area in conjunction with Super Bowl XL week in February 2026.
EA Sports Presents Madden Bowl, in partnership with Visa, will usher in Super Bowl weekend on Feb. 6, 2026, at San Francisco’s Chase Center. The “football-and-music takeover event” will feature what EA is calling a “Blue Carpet” event that features a :concert lineup, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content fans can only get through EA SPORTS channels.” The music lineup will feature internationally recognized and local favorite artists that will be announced closer to the event’s launch.
More importantly for esports fans, the Madden Championship Series (MCS): Madden Bowl Esports competition will feature the top Madden NFL 26 players competing live in San Francisco for the MCS title and a share of $1 million USD prize pool. Fans will be able watch the semifinals and finals starting at 6 PM ET on the official EA SPORTS Madden NFL Twitch and YouTube channels.
In addition to EA SPORTS Presents Madden Bowl, EA Sports will roll out a a number of other fan-facing experiences including a Madden NFL Gaming Lounge at Super Bowl LX opening night, a creator and athlete-driven gaming stage offering a live Twitch and YouTube broadcast; an official Madden NFL 26 Super Bowl LX prediction event using real NFL data and Madden NFL 26; a Bay Area Host Committee x EA SPORTS Super Bowl LX Media Welcome Party for NFL credentialed media at EA’s global HQ; an EA SPORTS Madden NFL media center where media, athlete, and coach interviews will take place; and an NFL Inspire Change STEAM event that will feature Madden NFL staff, the NFL, members of the San Francisco 49ers, the Bay Area Host Committee, and Players Coalition, participating in the Inspire Change STEAM event that aims to engage 100 local students “through hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math activities, mentorship, and conversations with NFL Legends to inspire the next generation of innovators.”
Madden NFL 26 is available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Amazon Luna, and PC.
