The National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) and InTouch Credit Union (ITCU) have signed a new partnership that will see ITCU named the “official financial services partner of NACE.

Financial terms of this new partnership were not disclosed.

The goal of this new partnership, according to the announcement, is to promote “financial literacy education within collegiate esports,” and give students access to various financial resources and digital learning options.

This new partnership deal was facilitated by PIVOT Agency.

“We are very excited to work with NACE to bring financial education and related services to students of participating NACE colleges and universities,” InTouch Credit Union CMO Tim McCoy said in a release. “Managing personal finances is difficult enough but can be especially challenging for students. There’s a financial expert on every virtual street corner ready to give advice but knowing who to listen to is difficult at best, and at worst, a potentially horrible start if the wrong advice is taken. We hope to bring clarity, simplicity and the truth to financial learning to all NACE student-athletes. We can’t wait to begin our partnership with NACE and bring real-world learning to students.”

Some of this financial literacy education will be delivered through an NACE and ITCU channel in the Student Hub of the NACE Discord channel. This space will be dedicated to providing students with a number of resources, including video content and “interactive learning tools” that run the gamut of important topics such as budgeting, saving, credit management, and financial planning.

In addition to teaching students financial literacy, the new partnership will see ITCU and NACE work together to create advertising and activations during NACE broadcasts, co-branded placements across NACE’s digital ecosystem through broadcast logo integrations, website banners, and event signage, and promote an awareness campaign signifying “ITCU’s commitment to supporting financial well-being among collegiate esports athletes.”

More information about this new partnership between NACE and ITCU can be found at nacesports.org.
