The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) announced Tuesday that crypto gaming and trading platform Rollbit has joined the organization as its newest tier 1 anti-corruption partner.
As a tier 1 anti-corruption partner, Rollbit will “play an active role in advancing ESIC’s mission to safeguard fair competition and protect the esports ecosystem from corruption and betting-related malpractice,” according to the announcement.
The ESIC Anti-Corruption supporter program taps into betting operators and industry stakeholders who have the capabilities to contribute to the detection, analysis, and investigation of suspicious betting activity, such as match-fixing and individuals involved in competitive matches engaging in gambling (which is generally against the rules of most competitive leagues and tournaments). As a tier 1 partner, Rollbit will work with ESIC to provide insights, data, and operational support to further enhance real-time monitoring and strengthen the commission’s enforcement capabilities.
“Partnering with ESIC reflects Rollbit’s deep commitment to ensuring integrity and fair play in esports,” said Sam Norman, head of partnerships at Rollbit. “We are proud to contribute our technology and expertise to help protect the competitive landscape and promote a safe, transparent environment for players and fans alike.”
Rollbit’s products and services are not legal to use in the United States and U.S. territories as well as Aruba, Australia, Belgium, Bonaire, Curacao, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Netherlands, North Korea, Saba, Slovakia, Spain, St Maarten, Statia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
Rollbit renewed its partnership with GameSquare Holding’s Faze Clan in September. Rollbit also served as a betting partner for StarLadder’s StarSeries S19 Fall Main Event in Budapest, held in late September.
