China’s League of Legends operator TJ Sports announced the partners that have signed on to support the League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2025) in China, including global partners, Chinese strategic partners, Chinese official partners, and special partners.
The event will begin on Tuesday and continue until Nov. 9, featuring global partners AWS, HyperX, Mastercard, Mercedes-Benz, Hewlett Packard (HP), OPPO, and Esports World Cup (EWC); Chinese strategic partner diary brand Momchilovtsi; Chinese official partners Durex, e-commerce brand Jing Dong, Cotti Coffee, and beverage brand RIO; Chinese special partners apparel brand Li-Ning, pet food brand ZIWI, and Intel.
Worlds 2025 will be held at the Beijing Intelligence Esports Center, Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena, and Chengdu Dong’an Lake Sports Park Arena. The Beijing Intelligence Esports Center is the home venue for the Chinese League of Legends Pro League (LPL) team Jing Dong Gaming (JDG), which is owned by the Chinese official partner of Worlds Jing Dong.
The Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena will host the knockout stage from Oct. 28 – Nov. 2. The venue has a seating capacity of 18,000, and often hosts international events, including the NBA, WWE, as well as esports events such as Dota 2’s The International 2019.
The grand final will take place at the Chengdu Dong’an Lake Sports Park Arena. Construction on the arena was completed in 2021, and it has a seating capacity of 18,000, depending on the configuration. The main venue served as the home of the 2021 Summer World University Games, and has been a popular destination for major musical events, such as the OneRepublic concert in 2023.
