Team Vitality signs Jeondding until 2030.

France-based esports organization Team Vitality announced Thursday that it has renewed the contract of  South Korean Tekken 8 professional player Jeon “Jeondding” Sang-hyun.

While financial terms of the deal were not made public, Team Vitality said in its announcement that the contract would run through 2030.

“Securing such a long-term commitment in esports is something truly special, and it speaks volumes about the absolute trust we have in Jeondding, both as a player and as a person,” said Danny Engels, Corporate Director of Global Operations at Team Vitality. “His attitude, dedication, and the way he embodies the DNA of Team Vitality make this partnership feel natural and inspiring. We’re thrilled to continue building this journey together and excited to see all the milestones he will achieve with us in the years ahead.”

Jeondding is one of the top TEKKEN players in the world; at the Esports World Cup this summer he placed 4th overall, and regularly places in the top 10 at tier 1 and tier 2 competitions. Most recently, he placed second at the Ultimate Fighting Arena 2025 in September. While TEKKEN 8 is his current focus, Jeondding has competed in Street Fighter V, Street Fighter 6, TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2, and TEKKEN 7.

Jeondding is set to compete at the upcoming EVO Nice in France, taking place from Oct. 10-12.
