Brazilian esports organization FURIA announced Tuesday that it has signed a partnership deal with consumer electronics brand TCL.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Under this new partnership, TCL will be featured on the Panther’s jersey on the right sleeve. Additionally, the two companies will provide activations aimed at the team’s fan base, with a booth packed with activities at Latin America’s largest gaming fair, from Oct. 9 – 12, in São Paulo.
The partnership aims to promote TCL’s line-up of gaming monitors and televisions with plans to launch the new QD-Mini LED monitor line to Brazil. As part of this initiative to promote the QD-Mini LED gaming monitor line, FURIA and TCL will invite a group of amateur gamers to a weekend bootcamp at FURIA’s headquarters in São Paulo, with support from experts who work day-to-day with Pantera’s high-performance teams. This event will be documented and shared on both brands’ social media channels.
“The partnership with FURIA reinforces our commitment to entertainment, innovation, and Brazilian gamers,” said Dale Chen, TCL’s marketing director for Latin America. “The gaming enthusiast market is extremely important to TCL, as it is a constantly growing, demanding audience that recognizes and appreciates all the technology that goes into the company’s products.”
FURIA and TCL will also make a stop at Brasil Games Show, Latin America’s largest gaming fair; TCL ‘s booth will feature a number of activities during the four-day event, including “a stage with special attractions, interactive fan activations, meet-and-greet sessions, and exclusive merchandise sales,” according to the announcement.
TCL joins FURIA’s growing list of partners including Shikenso Analytics, BetBoom, Lenovo Legion, Hellmann’s, Red Bull, Pokerstars, Logitech G, and Adidas. The Brazilian esports organization fields competitive teams in Rocket League, League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, EA FC, Valorant, PUBG Mobile, and Counter-Strike 2.
