Riot Games reveals pricing for TFT Paris Open Passes and event details.

Riot Games announced Thursday new details on pricing and ticketing information for the third annual Teamfight Tactics championship in Paris, France. The TFT Paris Open will take place Dec, 12 – 14 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, with 768 competitors competing for more than $300,000 in cash and prizes, with the overall winner taking home $100,000.

The competition will consist of a Main event and Side events. The Main event will feature an open-bracket LAN tournament on Day 1 played on TFT Set 16, with only one player ultimately winning the grand prize on Day 3.

Those not involved in the Main event (including attendees there to watch the event live) will have opportunities to enter into a variety of Side Events starting on Day 2 using free game stations at the venue. Tournament modes will include 4v4 and Double Up formats, while casual play will include classic TFT and “carnival-styleˮ modes such as PVE Mode, Carousel of Chaos, Mastermind, and Double Up Normals. More details and rules on side events can be found at the official competition site.

Riot also revealed details on Competitor and Spectator passes. Competitor passes, which are basically a buy-in to be able to compete at the event ,will start at $399, with a $100 discount to players who have ranked Master and Grandmaster in the game, or a $200 discount for challenger and Tactician Crown players. The Competitor passes also give access to other events and extras available during the TFT Open Paris including a competitor jacket with custom badges, an in-game Chibi skin from Set 16, and access to extracurricular events such as meet & greets, and community and developer panel discussions.

Spectator passes, which will go on “regular” sale Oct. 10 – Dec. 12, give TFT Paris Open access, entry to Side Events, and other onsite activities such as the Artist Alley, meet & greets, panels, and more. A one-day spectator pass ticket will cost around €45 (around $52 USD), while a three-day pass will be €130 (around $151 USD). Bundles that include other perks are also available.

TFT Paris Open passes will be on sale during specific windows from Sept. 7 – 10. On each sale day, competitor passes will open for sale at 5:00 AM PT / 2:00 PM CEST:

  • Sept. 7: Tactician’s Crown and TFT Pro Circuit Participants Pre-Sale
  • Sept. 8: Challenger Pre-Sale
  • Sept. 9: Grandmasters + Masters Pre-Sale
  • Sept. 10: General and Spectator Sale

Finally, Riot will be offering Brilliance Bundle, which can be added to Competitor or Spectator passes. These special bundles, priced at  $150, offer extras such as an exclusive TFT Paris Open duffle bag, TFT Paris Open Carré scarf, official TFT Paris Open mousepad, Set 16 poster, entry into a raffle to win a TFT Paris Open branded Secret Lab chair, a priority Line at the merch booth, priority seating for Finals, and a commemorative event badge.
