League of Legends developer Riot Games announced this week that it has partnered with Virtual Private Network (VPN) services company ExpressVPN to sponsor the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC).
Financial terms of this new partnership were not disclosed.
Under the terms of this new deal, ExpressVPN has been named a “Summer Split Partner,” and will sponsor the championship series taking place from August – September, culminating in this year’s League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) at the Caja Mágica in Madrid (Sept. 26 to 28).
